Making space for play and self-expression in a world that glorifies the functional and optimized
We need objects that make us smile, spark curiosity, and interrupt the everyday. I like taking familiar things, turning them into something unexpected, and making them well enough to be loved for a long time
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability, for me, is about making thoughtful choices, again and again. Choices around materials, packaging, and production are integral to the design process. Rather than aiming to scale endlessly, I create limited-edition collections. This keeps the pace slower and makes experimentation with alternative sustainable materials possible
MATERIALS
Nontraditional materials such as recycled scallop, wheat, and coffee grounds are used for 3D printing. Materials that would normally be discarded become part of the surface, leaving visible traces of their origin
